Moreover, the live cultures of yogurt will help you to restore the normal function of your digestive system. You can take a cup of yogurt twice a day after your meal.

Yogurt and fenugreek seeds: Fenugreek seeds have effective actions in treating diarrhea. Moreover, fenugreek seeds contain up to 50% of mucilage (a type of fiber) which are considered as natural remedy for diarrhea as they absorb water in the intestine and expand. Besides these, fenugreek seeds will increase the consistency, I mean they will bulk up your stool and it will decrease your discomfort. So, you can combine your yogurt with fenugreek seeds by the following method:

  • Take half a teaspoon of fenugreek seeds in your yogurt cup. Mix them well and consume it.
  • Other than that, you can also eat the mixture of a 1 teaspoon of fenugreek seeds and a tablespoon of yogurt to prevent diarrhea.

Yogurt, fenugreek seeds and cumin seeds: Cumin seeds are also considered as a natural and home remedy for diarrhea. For long years, medical practitioners suggest cumin seed for treating diarrhea. However, cumin seeds have antiseptic properties and they can increase the strength of your stomach as your stomach can function well.

Method:

  • Take half a teaspoon of fenugreek seeds, half a teaspoon of cumin seeds. Now roast them and grind them after cool down.
  • Take 2 tablespoons of yogurt and mix it with the powder.
  • Consume the mixture of yogurt with cumin seeds and fenugreek seeds 3 times a day.

Yogurt with black seed oil: Along with treating gas, colic, asthma and constipation, black seed has some nice action to treat diarrhea. For treating diarrhea, you can use the oil of black seeds. The nutrient rich oil of black seeds contains a lot of disease treating components and it has been used for a long time. However, it helps to protect the good bacteria of the digestive tract and improves the digestive system.

Method: Take a teaspoon of black seed oil and mix it with a cup of yogurt. Consume the mixture twice a day until you feel good.

Yogurt and banana: Bananas have a lot of medicinal properties as they contain a nice combination of proteins, vitamins and minerals. Moreover, banana is a low-potassium fruit and helps to restore the energy level of the body. Also, raw and green bananas contain pectin, which is a fiber that bulk up stool. Researches also show that, bananas have more powerful actions than other traditional medicines in treating diarrhea.

Method: Take two bananas and chop them into small pieces. Mix them well with a cup of yogurt. Consume it 2 times a day until the symptoms disappear.
